The individual docks rotate, which makes inserting and removing various extensions a breeze. I routinely use all the ports on it (camera, keyboard, stick, iPod, mouse etc) and plug things in and out more often than healthy. It does what it's supposed to do, it's lightweight, it's very nicely designed, and so far has required zero maintenance. Definitely worth the money.You'll notice a one-star review below; I believe that rating is unwarranted. The reviewer tried plugging in the CD/DVD super drive for the MacAir. As pointed in a comment by a different reviewer: "Apple has always indicated that the Superdrive's power requirements prevent it being used with any hub, even a powered one. [...]." It's not the hub's fault; per Apple's statement, the MacAir super drive currently does not work with any hubs, powered or not, due to its power requirements. Which is... I hadn't seen that that was part of the package and wasn't looking forward to hauling one around. However, I tried it without the AC plug and learned that it ran just as well without the plug.Tested with a 1st generation MacBook Air and plugged in a USB DVD burner, webcam, and microphone all while using an ethernet port to surf the web. Ran just as fast as the N wireless card. Only negative is that it got pretty warm after intensive testing. Not sure if that will be an issue later on. Otherwise perfect.
